The 15-day Avani Continuing Education programme invites emerging Architecture and design professionals to gain insight on the professional aspects of running their own design practices and projects in the Indian context. Through lectures, workshops and masterclasses by domain experts, participants will be hosted by six design firms across two cities as they explore aspects like SITE MANAGEMENT, DESIGN APPROACHES, STATUTORY COMPLIANCE, FINANCE MANAGEMENT as more.


Starting and running a firm is a challenge for emerging design professionals. It requires knowledge about areas that include design and documentation protocols, legal and financial aspects, branding, human resource management and statutory regulations, and much more.

The Professional Practice Management programme by Avani is a 15-day intensive programme that equips design professionals in all such aspects to help them start and better manage their own firms. Through lectures, site visits, workshops, masterclasses with domain experts, and visits to least six architecture firms across Calicut and Bangalore, participants will gain an in-depth understanding of best practices in professional design management in the Indian context.
